About Us

HAPPY WELFARE FOUNDATION(HWF)

Happy Welfare Foundation (HWF) is a local non-governmental organization (NGO) established in 2023 and registered under registration number 00NGO/R/4700, in accordance with Sections 11(1) and 17(2) of Act No. 24 of 2002 in Tanzania. HWF office is located at Citrine Plaza 1st Floor- Mingoi-Mapinga- Bagamoyo- Coast Region, Tanzania.

Programs

WOMEN AND YOUTH ENTREPRENEURSHIP SKILLS

This program provides women and youth with entrepreneurship skills, including the practical knowledge and abilities needed to start, manage, and grow sustainable businesses. It also promotes the formation and strengthening of VICOBA groups, enabling members to save, access working capital, start new businesses, and expand existing enterprises. The program aims to increase household income, create employment opportunities, and strengthen the economic independence of women and youth.

THERAPY FOR CEREBRAL PALSY AND AUTISM

This program supports children with cerebral palsy and autism from low-income families to access essential medical, therapeutic, rehabilitation, and psychosocial services for caregivers. The program also facilitates access to assistive devices and other specialized support to improve children's development, independence, and quality of life.

ORPHANS

This program provides care and support to orphan’s children from disadvantaged families and communities. Support includes access to basic needs, education, health services, psychosocial support, and other essential services aimed at improving children's well-being, protection, and future opportunities.

MENTAL HEALTH AND PSYCHOLOGICAL

This program promotes mental health and provides psychological and psychosocial support to children, youth, women, and other members of the community. It aims to increase awareness of mental health, provide counselling and emotional support, strengthen coping skills, and improve overall well-being.

FOOD SECURITY AND NUTRITION

The program aims to improve food security and nutritional well-being within communities by training farmers in sustainable and climate-smart agricultural practices, promoting the production of nutritious crops, and empowering women and youth through agricultural entrepreneurship and agribusiness opportunities.
